The purpose of this blog is to give unique, originally researched, or underutilized apologetics to those who need it. The Scriptures are not new, the Church Fathers are not new and neither are Magisterial teachings. However, often Scriptures have evidence that even experienced apologists do not know or use.
I have performed internet apologetics for over 16 years. I consider myself a database and data apologist. This means I provide the information the supports the Catholic Faith. I am not an evangelist. Evangelist try to make converts, and I make no such attempt. I consider my apostolate to defend the faith and bolster Catholics in thier beliefs. So I am part defender, part teacher and part edifier (I hope).
I have performed apologetics all over the Internet, including chatrooms (various), Youtube, and various message boards. Rarely, I go into the lion's den (Protestant, atheist or other websites). I do not suggest you do this, as we are not to throw pearls to swine.
SAMPLE APOLOGETIC (against Sola Scriptura)
When confronted with doctrinal dissent (Acts 15:1-2) Paul did not respond as Protestants do. He did not run to the Bible. So what did Paul do? He went to the Apostles about the matter (Acts 15:1-29). Why no Sola Scriptura? Because Paul taught us to hold to Sacred Tradition as well (2 The 2:15. 2 The 3:6, 1 Cor 11:2). If an Apostle of God did not perform Sola Scriptura, why do the Protestants, who are not even Apostles, do so?
